March 5, 2024

Dear Members of the Church Board and Bible Study Instructors,

Greetings in the name of our Lord. Following our previous communication about the introduction of the Answers Bible Curriculum in our church, I wish to offer additional information concerning the scheduled commencement for our adult congregation and the foundational concepts underpinning this curriculum. This curriculum is meticulously chosen to deepen our congregation's understanding of Scripture, ensuring our approach remains rooted in time-honored Christian traditions.

For Adults: Beginning in March 2024

We eagerly anticipate the start of the Adult Bible Study sessions in March 2024. These sessions will be held monthly on Fridays, consisting of hour-long lectures that delve deeply into the Scriptures. This initial frequency will allow us to assess the congregation's engagement and determine the feasibility of increasing our meetings to foster a more profound comprehension of the Bible.

For Children: Launching in the 2025 School Year

Our children's introduction to the Answers Bible Curriculum is planned for the 2025 school year. This decision is made with the intent to adapt the curriculum to suit the developmental needs and interests of children across various age groups, ensuring they receive a solid and appropriate foundation in biblical teachings.

Core Principles of the Answers Bible Curriculum:

  1. The Bible Is Trustworthy: Affirming the complete truthfulness of Scripture from Genesis to Revelation, emphasizing the critical nature of its precise interpretation.
  2. Defence of the Faith: Providing believers, young and old, with the tools to confidently uphold their faith against modern skepticism, armed with evidence from culture, history, and science.
  3. Biblical Chronology and History: Teaching the Bible in chronological order to offer a comprehensive view of its historical accuracy and the unfolding of God's plan.
  4. The Nature of God: Exploring the attributes of God as revealed in Scripture, encouraging believers to reflect Christ more closely in their lives.
  5. The Plan of Redemption: Tracing God’s redemptive work from Genesis to Revelation, emphasizing the cohesive message of salvation throughout the Bible.
  6. Applying Scripture to Life: Urging the practical application of biblical teachings in daily living, thereby affecting both personal behavior and community interactions.
  7. Unified Learning Across Ages: Ensuring all age groups learn about the same biblical topics concurrently, fostering opportunities for intergenerational discussion and reinforcement of faith at home.
