OUR MISSION

What We Believe God Has Called Us to Do

"Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it." - Proverbs 22:6

Research shows two-thirds of young people walk away from the church. That usually means they are walking away from the beliefs of their parents too.

Our goal is to assist our children in knowing Jesus Christ, growing to be like Him, and going to serve Him. This includes the discipline of Apologetics, where we equip both the young and old with knowledge from culture, history, and science to defend the Bible against common skeptical questions.

Our belief is that God has called us to work with parents in helping our children to:

OUR CORE VALUES

How We Believe God Would Have Us Accomplish the Mission

In order to accomplish the mission God has given us, this ministry will be guided by the following core values:

Christ-Centered — We commit to promoting a Christ-centered focus in the midst of a “me-centered” culture.

Scripture — We can trust all of God’s Word beginning in Genesis! While showing that Scripture is absolutely true, as stated in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 (ESV): "All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work," our curriculum emphasizes the importance of carefully and accurately interpreting the Bible.

Prayer — We commit to praying both with and for our children, following Philippians 4:6-7 (ESV): "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." We will also teach our children how to pray and trust God to meet their needs both great and small.

Family — We value learning together as the “family of God.” Deuteronomy 6:6-7 (ESV) states, "And these words that I command you today shall be on your heart. You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, and when you walk by the way, and when you lie down, and when you rise." To this end, we provide a multi-age learning environment in which children may learn to value one another as members of the body of Christ. We also commit to equipping each family to be intimately involved in their child’s spiritual growth.
